((Not quite sure why I let this die quite so much, but hopefully we can get it going again. And if anyone who reads this has any ideas for plots go ahead and start them, we need a few.))
Jack sat waiting in the Militia planning room, if the others didn't turn up in a minute he'd be dragging them in. They needed to sort out who was going to do what in this little mission and get going with it. The night before had derailed Jack's plan to decide everything then, so they'd have to hurry.
"Argh, where the Krat is everyone?"
He leaned back in his seat and kicked at the table in his impatience.

Neon strolled in at her own leaisurely pace with a yawn as she finished putting on a camo jacket that ended about her mid waise. Her black tank was under that as well as a pair of camo pants that were stuffed into a pair of calf height combat boots of brown.
" Kratting sleeping, thats where." She yawned haveing stayed up half the night, though a few hours in the cruddy excuse for sunlight and she would be fine and dandy yet again. One of the perks of being a mutant like her. Haveing alternate sources of energy.
" So whats the plan, who do I get to kill?Poision? Maime beyond recognition?" She asked with a smirk as she put up her boots on the table in a cocky fashion. Yes, Neon was once more on the prowl.

"Shut it, I'd still like to be asleep too y'know. And I thought I'd put you in a team with Carlo, you'd act as the lookouts when we went in. This is meant to be covert remember, so I don't want you going insane and trying to kill everyone you see again. As much as anything it spreads our reputation as just a pack of savages."
Jack slid a few sheets of paper across the chipped and pitted formica which covered the table. He waited for Neon to pick them up before continuing. He continued his explanation in a deadly serious voice. Neon needed to understand the importance of the job at hand.
"Now that is a rough diagram of the building and the street around it. You and Carlo are going to be on top of the building opposite, but if we need help you two are the back up. That means, against my better judgement you are going to need a few weapons before we leave."
To tell the truth it was good that Neon had turned up first. Jack could brief her and sort out whatever issue was bound to come up before the others arrived.

“ Oh, your no fun. Anyway they deserved it, they called me grass head. “ She retorted in a fake pout as he showed her some papers. Taking them up she looked over it carefully. Raising a messenger bag on her side for him to see she grinned a bit.
“ I’m also coming medically prepared… though maybe I should of brought a bigger bag if I knew I could have some toys this time too. I would like to request first call on a hand held flame thrower, a few grenades as well as a few long range weapons.” She grinned innocently as if she had merely just ordered a drink at the locale bar.
“ Oh and you can throw in a few knives if you like. Just in case you know.” She told him innocently. Though taking it serious, it was hard at times for the female to be so.

Jack sighed at Neon's request for large weapons. He sighed and shook his head before responding in a stern voice.
"Like hell are you taking that lot, remember the word covert? You can have the knives, a noise suppressed pistol and some form of S.M.G. for backup. Definitely no grenades and no flame thrower. If you want to go and get the kit now the guys in the lockup know what you're allowed to have."
Now where were the others. It was getting late and by the looks of it any problems with Neon were going to be sorted soon.

" Aww man, this sucks." He pouted as she hung her head and got up in order to start down there to get her kit.
" Do you wish for me to return here or head on out?" She asked him smoothly. Still wishing she had a flame thrower... even a little one! Jeeze.....

Tallis had heard the commotion comeing from the room. Noteing Jacks voice he stuck his head inside. Noticeing the green haired girl was standing there by the door.
" Sorry if I interrupted anything... I was just wondering... if there was anything you wish for me to do? It's the least I can do to repayyou for your kindness." He smiled to the man as his kept his head a bit low almost in a submissive matter to the leader figure in the room. Years of being battered by those that didn't like mutants well. It gave Tallis a bit of a submissive complex.

Jack smiled at Neon's annoyance, she was far too aggresive for her own good that girl. In response to her question her shugged his shoulders in the universal whatever you feel like sign.
"Go and get your stuff and then you can get to the Strip however you want, just be on the roof of the building opposite the centre by 17:00 alright? If you want to go in with the rest wait around a bit and we'll all be down to get kit."
When Tallis poked his head round the door Jack smiled happily.
"You've already repaid any debt in full by helping with last night. But if you really want to help you could be part of the little job we're carrying out today, that one I mentioned yesterday if ya remember."

" I could try... at least. What do you need me to do?" He asked as he fully came into the room. Neon simply rolled her eyes at this. Some mutants were just too meek for their own good!

Jack thought about it for a few seconds and then replied, a slight grimace on his face as he braced himself for the response he'd most likely get from Neon.
"Seeing as this'd be your first little job for the Militia, assuming you want to continue, I think I'll swap you with Neon here. All you need to do is get on top of a building and keep watch for any purists. This way you'll get to know how we work and Neon will get her wish and get into any action a bit more.
You'll be working with Carlo and if Neon gives you the stuff she has you've got where you need to be and when"

" Oh hell yeah! Kitty Kat I love you!" She exclaimed as she beamed full of joy with a smirk to their fearless leader. Shoving the stuff into the cats arms she smirked back at Jack.
" So do I get the flame thrower NOW?" She asked just about to jump for joy right then and there.
Tallis on the other hand just stood there bewildered by this sudden exclamation from the girl.
" Um.... ooookay..." was all he could reply for a lack of better words to say at that moment...

"Bloody hell, forget about the flamethrower. Covert means no freaking flamethrowers. You still just get a pistol, SMG, knives and if you really want a taser or some pepper spray. Now go away before you make up this job's body count by one before it's even started."
He relented and looked up at Tallis and the slightly bemused look on his face. He felt bad doing what he was just about to, but the guy needed someone to explain some of the ins and outs of the militia to him and Jack was busy.
"Oh and could you take Tallis with you too, get him his stuff as well. Maybe you could tell him about the Militia on the way?"

Neon looked over to Jack with a mock serious look on her face. Pointing to her visage she frowned.
" Anyone this freaking green, can not be covert, so I might as well get something to match this neon skin of mine." She smirked about to say flame thrower but changed it at the last second. She smiled over to the kitty patting him on the shoulder with a laugh.
" Come on lets get you suited up!" She grinned before takeing him out to explain a few things while they got their supplies.

Jack had waited around for another quarter of an hour before he had gotten bored. He stood and stretched before making sure the folders for the others taking part in the job were clearly visible on the desk and walking out to go and get himself kitted up.
He headed downstairs to the armoury and waited for the guys to wave him through before going to choose the stuff he'd need for today. He chose a flechette pistol loaded with with stunning rounds and a shoulder holster so he could keep it concealed. Apart from that all he took was one of the thinnest types of body armour, easy to hide under clothes and it could stop a pistol round or a knife.
After coming back out of the armoury he looked around and spotted Neon and the new guy. He walked over to the two of them and coughed to get their attention.
"You two ready? We can head out early and meet the det-man I got for the job. The others can catch us up later."

Tallis nodded at this, having taken what was offered to him gleefully he still was minus armor for not many places had anything really that would fit his immense chest size. “ I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.” The guy replied as he ran his hand through his locks of blue. He also held in his hand a rain parka he had found. A standard dark green that would hide his obvious features and maybe allow him to blend in with the shadows easier then with his usual bright blue hair standing out like a beacon. - Neon though, she wore a black medium weight vest, though longing for bigger arsenal she had to make do with the crud they have chosen to give her. “ I still say, flame thrower, would have been the way to go.” The violent woman coughed before looking away innocently as if she had not just uttered those fateful words.
